Job DescriptionThe purpose of this position is to assist the Unit Manager in their day-to-day operation of the nursing unit. Duties include the recording and charting of medical or administrative information in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guideline, and regulations that govern medical records, including duties to assist with completion of necessary information for the Minimum Data Set preparation. The position will ensure that the medical records are maintained in an informative and descriptive manner. The position will also assist the Unit Manager in coordination of clerical duties of the nursing unit and other duties as assigned including working as a CNA when needed.

Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Maintain a valid South Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate with staff and to follow established procedures.
- Must possess a basic knowledge of medical terminology
