Waitress/Kitchen Staff

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Team Member. As a member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Duties:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent food quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.49 - $22.27 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
