To provide prompt and efficient service to our guests using iHospitality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance adhering to IHOP uniform standards at all times
- Arrive to work on time and according to posted schedules
- Greet guests with a smile
- Introduce yourself to the guests, describe any specials and inform guests who your partner is should they need anything (follow IHOP Service Excellence guidelines)
- Deliver drink orders, pour coffee and ask guests if they are ready to order their meal
- Take meal order, use suggestive selling technique when appropriate, repeat back the meal order to guest to eliminate errors
- Input meal order into the computer system for the cook to prepare, total check
- Pick up meals in order or as called out by the Expo
- Serve any soups, salads, beverages, condiments etc.
- Garnish food order, serve to guests, and leave guest check on the table
- Call back at each table to make sure everything is satisfactory to the guest
- Manicure table by removing extra unnecessary items and plates from guests when finished.
- With the General Manager’s authorization, take payment (cash, credit card, gift card) at the register, (and/or server banking where in effect), ring check before making change, thank guests and invite them to return
- Handle guest complaints with concern and courtesy. Report all complaints to the General Manager
- Work cooperatively with all restaurant personnel
- Adhere to all Labor Laws and company guidelines
- Follow proper company safety procedures
- Follow any other procedures and duties as assigned in accordance to local, state, and federal guidelines

Pay: $15.69 - $25.00 per hour
