Job description

Ensures quality program implementation in all programs and at all Sites by establishing a clear, unified approach that aligns training, consultation, evaluation and data support under one service department. Executes quality consultation, evaluation, and training support that results in effective, sustainable, high functioning Youth Care programs across the organization.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Provides national leadership and support to ensure the implementation of quality Youth Care programs across all Boys Town programs and Sites.

  • Oversees a team of Program Quality Directors.
  • Works with the affiliate Site senior leadership to establish individualized, customized service plans to meet the needs of each individual Site.
  • Delivers an aligned array of consultation, evaluation, training, and data services.
  • Establishes a quality support methodology that is simple, timely, consistent, aligned and empowering.
  • Works collaboratively with the VP Youth Care Site Operations and all support departments across the organization.
  • Establishes and implements data sets essential to monitoring and managing quality program implementation.
  • Creates dashboards or other data monitoring tools for use in monitoring program performance.
  • Ensures maintenance of the integrity of the Boys Town Model of Care.
  • Ensures maintenance of the integrity of the Certification and Evaluation System.
  • Oversees and approves any modifications or enhancements to the Boys Town Model of Care or its core components.
  • Oversees the collection, storage, and accessibility of all program materials, resources, manuals, or model support tools.
  • Supports Program Quality Directors in helping sites to develop a cadre of model talent and model skills to support the maintenance of quality within their own sites.
  • Oversees integrity and maintenance of the Site Certification process.
  • Develops and monitors adherence to annual budget.
  • Hires, manages, and evaluates staff.
  • Demonstrates a personal commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a workplace that values diverse perspectives and embraces differences.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Intimate knowledge of the Boys Town Model of Care.
  • Intimate knowledge of Implementation Science Research and Model implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability as a strong communicator, facilitator, consultant, trainer, and evaluator.
  • High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of how to use and interpret data, create data reports, leverage data to improve Program Quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others across the organization.
  • Ability to build and sustain trust and to facilitate productive relationships.
  • Ability to select, motivate, evaluate, and develop personnel.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including experience in managing, developing, and articulating the Boys Town Model of Care required.
  • Executive level experience operating a Boys Town Model program or Site required.
  • Available for extensive overnight travel out of the local area required.
  • Willing to be located at National Headquarters required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree preferred.
