The individual will oversee Sales Promotion and Sales Administration the Sephora Account and is responsible for overseeing various tasks, which include but is not limited to; managing sales, marketing, inventory, visual displays, in-store fixtures, and logistics at the headquarters level. Additionally, they will lead and train Account Manager(s) on their team. They will play a role in creating seasonal financial and inventory plans and budgets and coordinating financial and merchandise aspects of product launches, marketing strategies, and events. Their main objective will be to optimize our "in stock" position, gain market share and achieve profitability goals. This person is a crucial partner and point of contact for Benefit Cosmetics, liaising between their Merchant teams and the Retailer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall account management strategy to drive retailer satisfaction and revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with Sephora Retailer Account Teams
- Lead and mentor a team of Account Manager(s), providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure their success in managing merchant and account relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to align account management strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and drive continuous improvement in account management practices.
- Develop and implement metrics and KPIs to track the performance of the account management team and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Own P&L management to ensure that financial plans for each account align with the overall targeted retail, net, and OP goals.
- Partner with Internal and Sephora Planning Teams in forecasting all newness, promo, and collateral.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize stockouts, and improve inventory turnover.
- Utilize data analytics and forecasting techniques to forecast demand, identify trends, and improve inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with the both Benefit and Sephora visual merchandising team to create appealing product presentations and ensure adherence to brand guidelines and implement in-store fixtures that enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
- Collaborate with the Education team to formulate effective strategies and programs for the Retail Educator Managers and Retail Sales Teams.
- 8+ years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of the beauty market, including products, trends, and competitive landscape (preferable).
- Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and driving sales growth.
- Ability to analyze sales results and identify factors relating to business opportunities and risks.
- Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Elevated skills in partnership and negotiation for long-lasting retailer relationships that drive attention and sales for the brand.
- Excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving skills.
- Team oriented. Ability to manage relationships across multiple departments internally that build lasting partnerships and collaboration
- Travel up to 25%
