As VP of Marketing, your mission will be to continually grow and expand Honeyfund’s customer acquisition strategy, and collaborate with other teams on brand loyalty, repeat business and referrals.
You will take overall responsibility for the marketing results of the company, creating and executing strategies with your team of Marketing specialists, which you will be responsible for growing and managing. You will be responsible for the customer journey including messaging, targeting, positioning, creative development and other marketing activities that communicate with, attract and engage paying customers. You will report directly to the CEO, sit on the leadership team, and bring input to the product and company strategy based on your results and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing Planning – work directly with the CEO planning the company’s winning marketing strategy, with a 10x growth focus.
- Oversee these marketing functions:
- Digital Advertising – oversee digital ad campaigns that perform
- SEO – manage an agency or in-house SEO staff
- Content marketing -- Develop a content strategy that ensures Honeyfund is top of mind for wedding planning couples
- Influencer and affiliate marketing–ensure the company’s brand is well understood and promoted among influencers and affiliates
- Social Media – Oversee social media activities that create awareness and engagement across Instagram, Pinterest and others.
- Email Marketing/Marketing Automation – develop a workflow to effectively communicate with email contacts, grow lists and nurture subscribers throughout the customer lifecycle to drive repeat business.
- PR/Media Relations – Both owned and earned PR to communicate important company messaging to all stakeholders via an outsourced or internal PR team.
- Traditional Advertising –Where appropriate incorporate event, print, radio, and/or outdoor advertising.
- Management – continue to grow and develop Honeyfund’s superstar marketing team to execute and expand our marketing results.

$225k DOE
