We are currently seeking a VP of Data Science for our client, who will be instrumental in establishing a new team from the ground up and adeptly crafting a successful business strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the establishment of a high-impact Data Science and Actuarial team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Develop and execute a successful business strategy aligned with the company's goals, working directly with top-level business leaders.
• Transform financial and actuarial processes through the implementation of state-of-the-art models.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Data Science solutions into our financial services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field. A master's or Ph.D. is a plus.
• Proven experience in leading transformative Data Science and Actuarial initiatives.
• Previous leadership experience, including managing teams of Data scientists and analysts.
• Strong knowledge of Data Science frameworks, libraries, and tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present results to non-technical stakeholders.
• A track record of delivering results and a commitment to driving innovation in the field of Data Science.
