Location: Remote eligible-(Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana and Arkansas)
Travel Amount Required: 30%

Description & Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mortgage Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development, enhancement, and management of our Mortgage Product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the mortgage industry, regulatory requirements, and market trends. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and technology, to define and implement product strategies that drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
Primary and Essential Functions
• Establish and maintain partnerships with government agencies, nonprofits, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to enhance the reach and impact of down payment assistance programs.
• Collaborate with real estate professionals, developers, and community organizations to promote awareness and accessibility.
• Work closely with stakeholders to conceptualize and develop new Mortgage Products that align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, technology, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of Mortgage Products.
• Stay informed about industry competitors, market trends, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation.
• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote Mortgage Products, including defining target audiences, value propositions, and messaging.
• Monitor and analyze product performance, gathering feedback from internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure all Mortgage Products comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to review product documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Provide training to sales teams and other relevant stakeholders on Mortgage Products, ensuring a deep understanding of product features and benefits.
Secondary Functions
• Perform general administrative duties such as attending meetings, reporting, etc.
• Work with other departments when needed on projects related to the mission of HOPE.
• Represent HOPE at functions.

• Must comply with the provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act
• Must comply with the provisions of the Fair Housing Act
• Must comply with the provisions of the Flood Disaster Protection Act
• Must comply with the provisions of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (Regulation C)
• Must comply with the provisions of the Homeowners Protection Act
• Must comply with the provisions of the National Flood Insurance Act
• Must comply with the provisions of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (Regulation X)
• Must comply with the provisions of the Servicemembers' Civil Relief Act
• Must comply with the provisions of the Truth in Lending Act (Regulation Z)

• Provide ongoing training for employees to enhance skills and knowledge in emerging technologies.
• Mortgage Loan production
• Launch new product features to enhance product offerings
Competencies/Skills
• Ability to develop and articulate a clear strategic vision for the Mortgage Product portfolio, aligning with overall business objectives.
• Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the mortgage industry.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing Mortgage Products and the ability to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ability to identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation within the mortgage industry.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
• Ability to relate well with customers and business affiliates
Desired Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Mortgage Product management or a closely related role.
• Demonstrated experience in dealing with secondary mortgage markets preferred
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to use metrics to drive product improvements.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing Mortgage Products, and experience ensuring product compliance.
Physical Demands
• Employee is regularly required to sit, stand and walk.
• Employee will be in constant use of keyboard which would require use of hands and fingers.
• Employee will be in constant communication with other persons related to work and requiring the use of hearing and speaking.
• Employee must infrequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
