Job description

Diamond Foundry Inc. is solving the thermal limitation at the foundation of today's most exciting tech industries -- AI & cloud compute, electric-car power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. We have managed to produce the world's first single-crystal diamond wafers and are now on a mission to put a diamond behind every chip. We are the rare unicorn that has grown fast and profitably. We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.

Reporting to the EVP Operations, the VP Global Supply Chain will lead the global Supply Chain team comprising sourcing, purchasing, planning, inventory control, warehousing and logistics. In this highly critical role at Diamond Foundry, the VP will be responsible for achieving outstanding performance by establishing and deploying best-in-class Supply Chain strategy, tactics, systems, policies and procedures; leading, developing and growing a highly capable, multi-site team; and driving improvements in supplier quality, delivery, cost and technology. In addition to managing extensive consumables, such as a variety of industrial gasses, and the overall supply base supporting Diamond Foundry's global factories, the VP will also manage an extensive Supply Chain for the company's portfolio of proprietary processing equipment deployed throughout the company's factories.
Responsibilities:
    • Lead a global team and manage Diamond Foundry's extensive Supply Chain in a highly dynamic, complex environment supporting production, R&D and facilities across several sites globally-with more sites being added over the coming years (including the Spain factory currently under construction).
    • Achieve excellent supplier performance in quality, cost, delivery and technology while supporting both existing factories and new factories as output and revenue grow rapidly to serve world-class customers in mega tech industries (e.g., semiconductor and EV).
    • Develop, improve and deploy Supply Chain strategies, systems, policies and procedures including: multi-sourcing; sourcing in low-cost regions; MRP; supplier assessments, scorecards & reviews; S&OP; business continuity; and trade compliance.
    • Play a key role on the operations management team formulating strategy and objectives.
    • Collaborate with teams across the organization and communicate frequently with executives, including the CEO.
Requirements:
    • 8+ years experience as a Supply Chain Director/Manager.
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Demonstrated deep knowledge of Supply Chain management with extensive experience managing a complex Supply Chain, building Supply Chain infrastructure in a rapidly growing environment, achieving best-in-class results, and successfully negotiating with suppliers to achieve highly competitive outcomes.
    • Extensive Supply Chain experience working in the semiconductor industry strongly preferred.
    • Based at the Diamond Foundry Wenatchee (WA), South San Francisco (CA) or Fremont (CA) site. Remote work will be considered if living in the western US to enable frequent travel to Diamond Foundry's US sites.
$180,000 - $230,000 a year
The position is eligible for company shares. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's job duties, experience, and location. We will also consider higher-level candidates and salary will be adjusted accordingly.
