Overview:
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Triad HealthCare Network (THN), is responsible for overseeing daily THN activities and operations to ensure the operational and financial success of THN. This position provides organizational leadership, values, and strategic direction to fulfill the mission, vision, and business objectives of THN. This leadership position plans, organizes, coordinates, controls, and directs the staff, programs, and all activities of THN.
The CAO works collaboratively with the THN Chief Clinical Officer and Medical Director (s) and is a principal liaison between THN and physician groups, Cone Health, payers, CMMI, care partners, employers, and other ACOs. Additionally, and importantly, the CAO is responsible for the quality, integrity and effectiveness of key affiliations and partnerships, including care partner in relationship to serving THN Medicare and Medicare Advantage populations. This position requires developing relationships and influencing behavior with physician leaders, practice administrators, hospital and health plan leadership, CMMI, other healthcare facility executives, employers, and vendors.
This position has direct supervisory responsibility for the following value-based operational areas: Health Plan performance, Network Management, Care Transformation/Population Health Programs, Quality Informatics and Risk Adjustment, Compliance, Marketing, Post-acute Strategy, Utilization Management, and Payer Contracting. This position provides leadership for the administration/management services of the ACO by maximizing physician performance as an ACO, developing the organizational infrastructure, assisting in risk arrangement/Pay-for-performance contract negotiations on behalf of the ACO, and managing the operations and financial performance of the ACO. This includes providing management and assistance to ACO directors, managers, practice liaisons, program managers, and other direct reports who are engaged in supporting ACO operations. Responsibilities:
Serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for Triad HealthCare Network. Provides organizational leadership, values, and formulates THN's strategic direction in close collaboration with Cone Health, care partner (s), and physician leaders to ensure operational and financial success for all contracted populations. (Currently 165,000 patients and over $900M in at-risk medical spend)

Develops and implements strategy for commercial business segment and growth of direct to employer services.

Advanced Degree in a Related Field (Business, Health Care Policy, Health Care Delivery, Public Health, etc.)
Masters or doctorate degree requiredEXPERIENCE:Required 3-5 years of ACO and/or value-based experience in ACO and/or vendor-based group/physician practice or health policy experience. A minimum of 5 years of healthcare management experience and at least 3 years of experience developing or managing a risk-bearing entity with a significant senior patient population such as an ACO including developing strategic and business plans, directing managed care and business development activities, and overseeing employees. Requires a proven strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture. The position requires an independent-thinking, self-starting, goal-oriented, experienced leader to develop and coordinate a team of diverse participants into a successful, cutting-edge accountable care organization.
