SalaryPosition Overview : Asset Management attorney to support Jefferies’ Asset Management business (branded under “Leucadia Asset Management” or “LAM”), including LAM-managed funds and SMAs, and joint ventures/revenue shares in third party managers.
Responsibilities include :
- Assist in the launch of LAM-managed funds and SMAs, including (i) review of marketing materials and fund documents and (ii) negotiation of NDAs, side letters, investment management agreements, trading documents and other related documentation.
- Assist in investments by LAM-managed PE and VC funds in portfolio companies and third-party funds, including (i) negotiation of NDAs and side letters (ii) due diligence review.
- Assist in (i) due diligence review and (ii) negotiation of LLC/partnership agreements, revenue share agreements, side letters, investment management agreements, placement agreements and other related documentation with third-party managers.
- Liaise with and supervise outside counsel as necessary. Coordinate with relevant departments within the firm.
Requirements :
- At least 3 years’ Asset Management experience at reputable law firm.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Professional, positive attitude, team player, ability to work well under pressure with internal and external clients.
- Hardworking, motivated, proactive, conscientious, detail-oriented, organized and efficient.
The salary range for this role is $175,000 - $225,000.
