Overview:
The One Life Project is currently taking applications to be a Social Media Manager on our team. This is a volunteer, non-paid role within the One Life Project. Our Social Media Managers and content creators work to film, edit, and create ideas surrounding our Social Media accounts and website. These individuals film Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok content for our followers. Content includes topics like mental health, self-care, motivation, and more! Our content creators are able to gain or build their own following by filming content for us. Content includes planning for, filming, and editing Tiktoks, Instagram reels, stories, and posts, and Content for our website and/or Youtube. Our managers oversee these efforts and review and edit material when needed.
Social Media Managers only need to commit to a few hours of work each week/month and play a crucial role in our organization, its growth, and our future. Experience is not required.
Duties:
- Oversee Social Media content and editing
- Provide strategic guidance and input on Social Media and our strategy
- Review and approve Social Media content and website content
- Collaborate with fellow creators to create branded and partnered content
- Work with celebrity and influencer level individuals to film cobranded content
Requirements:
- Smartphone and/or Computer for content creation, filming, and editing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively within a team

About us: The One Life Project is a national nonprofit organization that works to build and create a kinder world where we educate, advocate for, and support teens, college students, and young adults who are struggling with mental health in the hopes of preventing suicide in young people and ending the stigma that surrounds mental health. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and currently have several offices across the United States. We are home to over 3,500 volunteers and employees worldwide.
