I am a filmmaker competing in the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge and am looking for a smart college student who can take the lead on building and executing a Social Media strategy to promote my team's upcoming 5-minute short film. The Easterseals Disability Film Challenge invites filmmaking teams from around the world to make a 5-minute short featuring at least one person with a disability in front of or behind the camera.
While all team members must be volunteers per the film challenge rules, this rewarding competition has major entertainment industry exposure - executives at Sony, the Farrelly Brothers, Casting Society of America, and more watch the films to find new talent so this a great opportunity to grow your portfolio/reel as part of an award-winning team that has either won or placed in the finals in the Challenge for the past three years!
This is a great opportunity for a self-starter looking to gain experience and mentorship. I am an award-winning digital marketer by trade and will be helping you hone your skills on this project.
I am looking for someone who can start ASAP and see this through the completion of our awareness campaign which goes through April 21st.
This is an unpaid position and you can work from anywhere though I am in NYC and it would be ideal if you were available for meetings evenings and weekends East Coast hours. I am happy to write a credit letter to your school if you are able to do this as a for-credit internship.
