Responsible for providing, overseeing and managing vocational services for persons with disabilities which will include a focus on the skill development process, pre-employment, work training employment, mobile work crews, enclaves, development of community work options, career planning, integrated community employment, and the procurement of integrated sub- contract work.
Completes time studies, bids, prime product development and pricing.
Ensure compliance with OOD, Employment First, DODD, Dept. of Labor, and ADA rules pertaining to community employment and other employment services.
Develops work options and career exploration through community partnerships.
Sets up community based assessments; performs individualized job development; coordinates and/or provides job coaching; provides follow along services.
Assists with determining staffing and coverage needs. Assists with arranging for substitute coverage as needed.
Assists with orientation and training of new staff members. Serves as the ?mentor? for all DSPs.
Attends in-service training, seminars, and other meetings as required by administration.
Attends planning meetings.
Maintain Certified Employment Specialist (CESP) certification.
Maintains an expected and acceptable attendance record.
Performs other assigned duties related to the position.

Be able to maintain accurate records and data.
Computer skills using Microsoft office programs.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
Two (2) years paid related work experience in the Developmental Disabilities or related field.
Two (2) years paid related management of employee experience.
Valid Ohio Driver?s License and ability to be covered by our client.
Maintains appropriate certification/registration (including, but not limited to, CPR and First Aid, CESP).
Satisfactory criminal background, Abuser Registry and Driving Abstract checks and pre-employment drug test.
