Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized vendor-managed inventory (VMI) Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate at one of our remote warehouses, you will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This is a crucial role in our supply chain management process.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock
- Maintain accurate inventory records using data analysis skills
- Pick and pack orders for shipment
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, lift gates, and pallet jacks
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Use our warehouse management systems for order processing and inventory management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse processes and customer service
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in warehouse or retail management preferred
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Proficient in data analysis skills to track inventory levels and identify trends
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
