Warehouse Associate

Art-inspired home furnishings and gift store seeking organized and motivated warehouse clerk to join our growing company. We seek an individual who not only helps keep inventory logs and documentation organized, but will also move, stack, package, transport, and sort inventory in our Vancouver-based warehouse and between stores.

• Forklift certification and pallet jack experience required.
• Move inventory and materials throughout the store/warehouse.
• Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care.
• Pulls, packs, and transports transfers to stores on Mondays and Thursdays.
• Receives, tags, bins, and counts product.
• Organizes incoming shipments to ensure all product is accounted for and received on time.
• Assists with customer deliveries as needed.
• Process inventory for deliveries/pickups as directed.
• Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper locations.
• Package items and label correctly
• Report damaged or missing inventory to the supervisor.
• Stack and organize large bulk items.
• Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse.
• Remove inventory from trucks for shipping and/or delivery.
• Move materials from storage to pick-up area or other locations.
• Ensure the workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards.
• Keep warehouse premises neat and clean.
• Work as an active team member to complete team goals
• Close pickups in a timely fashion.
• Update logs and documentation for inventory processing.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining up to date records of inventory.
• Prepare documentation and inventory for audits.
• Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials.

Additional Qualifications:

· High school degree or equivalent

· Able to pass drug test/background check

· Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the shift

· Physically able to safely lift up to 50 pounds.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment

· Able to work independently

· High attention to detail and monitors quality/quantity of inventory

· Highly organized and able to store items efficiently

· Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state.

· Clean driving record

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.54 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 30 per week
