SalaryAcuity is seeking a talented and innovative Visual Designer to join our team, supporting company-wide initiatives. This role involves providing a wide range of creative services including graphics, presentations, videos, and other visual content to various departments such as proposals, marketing, business units, and other corporate functions. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse design skill set, with a strong emphasis on layout design, desktop publishing, videography, photography, and graphic design skills for branding and marketing graphics. Knowledge of WordPress themes and design is highly desirable. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this dynamic position requires flexibility to work on different efforts with varying levels of responsibility, making it essential for the candidate to have an eagerness to learn and grow within the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the proposal team and subject matter experts to create effective and understandable graphics for written and oral presentations, providing desktop publishing support for RFIs/White Papers/RFP responses.
- Offer full life-cycle video support including planning, storyboarding, recording, editing, implementing visuals, and finalization.
- Design and layout corporate materials such as fact sheets, infographics, and briefings.
- Provide planning, advisory, visual design, and branding support for company events, sponsorships, social media, and other promotional materials.
- Document company-sponsored activities as a photographer/videographer as needed.
- Help update Acuity’s intranet and maintain graphic resource hubs such as Acuity’s Visual Design Center and Brand Central Station Media Library in SharePoint.
- Develop digital visuals for email templates and the website, ranging from illustrated graphics to WordPress themes.
- Provide additional design services as needed across the company.

- Flexible work schedule with availability for occasional weeknight/weekend support.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field (master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience).
- 4+ years of experience with an in-house creative team.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro), Mac applications (Keynote, iMovie), and Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with WordPress and understanding of web design principles.
- Experience in Federal Government Contracting and Proposal Processes highly preferred.
- Shipley training preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work from office headquarters in Reston, VA, twice a week for team collaboration and on-site video/photo shoots.
- Skilled in filming interviews and producing high-quality video content.
- Digital portfolio showcasing a wide range of visual design work.
