Weekends Required.
We are looking for Visitor Center Associates to help support our daily operations at Bulleit Distilling Co. Visitor Center located in Shelbyville, KY.
Responsibilities:
- Setting rooms multiple times per day in preparation for groups.
- Pouring whiskey samples, and distributing to each place setting.
- Clearing tasting rooms and seating areas of glassware, cleaning and polishing glassware.
- General cleaning and resetting tasting rooms for upcoming guests.
- Ability to expand knowledge of Bulleit as well as state and local liquor laws.
- Engaging with guests in the gift shop, working at the register to ring up purchases.
- Completing opening & closing duties with the team specific to the designated areas.
- Moving inventory from the stockroom to the sales floor.
- Understanding product names and pricing.
- Tagging, folding, organizing items.
- Keeping all displays fully stocked, and ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
- Ensuring all supplies are stocked for every shift, and monitoring supply levels.
- General daily cleaning/organizing for designated areas.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours while performing the duties of this position.
- Fine motor skills including pouring, polishing, cleaning, labeling/pricing, etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Experience: Customer Service, Restaurant/Bar experience helpful, Hospitality and/or Retail.
Additional Qualifications:
PMM will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the USA in this position and must be 21 years of age. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of a background check, drug screen and verification of I-9 Form.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
