Job description

Biology: Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach courses in general biology, general botany, plants and the environment. Additional courses may include plant anatomy or plant/human physiology, depending on the candidate’s expertise. Position is a full-time, academic-year appointment, beginning in August 2024.

Required: Ph.D. in biology, botany, or closely related field by date of appointment for Visiting Assistant Professor or a M.S. degree in biology, botany, or closely related field by date of appointment for appointment as Instructor.

Consideration may be given to candidates with a Ph.D. and previous teaching experience in plant biology.
