How the Virtualization/Storage Project Manager will make an impact:Supervise, coordinate, and manage a global team of VMware administrators, ensuring that technical solutions and implementation schedules are implemented in a timely mannerTake a lead role in the oversight, planning, and implementation of projects and initiativesDevelop technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task orders to provide insight and recommendations to multiple levels of management for courses of actions and process improvements that benefit GEFCoordinate the onboarding, migration, and deployment of tenant assets (both physical and virtual) into the GEF infrastructureMonitor the health and wellness of all enterprise systemsTrack the installation of new hardware and replacement of “end of life” or defective hardware at installations worldwideManage patching schedules and mitigate critical vulnerabilities that could impact GEF operationsCoordinate resources to meet deadlines for deliverables of products and assigned tasksArrange, attend, and conduct meetings and briefings to coordinate GEF efforts with stakeholders and supported commandsCreate documentation, reports, briefings, and project plans necessary to support GEFParticipate in special projects as required WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent , and 5+ years relevant Virtualization/Storage and project management experienceCertifications: 8570 certification IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP AND ITIL or an approved Project Management certification (within 6 months of hire)Security Clearance Level: Ability to secure and maintain a SECRET level security clearanceRequired Skills and Abilities: leadership, resource management, Virtualization/Storage, and logical troubleshootingLocation: On Customer Site, Ft.
