Job Title:Special Education Remote Teacher (Resource and Case Management)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Remote Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will primarily focus on resource and case management, supporting students with special needs in a remote learning environment.
Position Overview: As a Special Education Remote Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with special needs. This is a full-time, remote position that requires a deep understanding of Special Education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage individualized education programs (IEPs).
Responsibilities:
- Resource Management: Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement effective resource plans for students with special needs.
- Case Management: Maintain and update individualized education programs (IEPs) for assigned students, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Instructional Support: Provide remote instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and make necessary adjustments to support plans.
- Parent and Team Collaboration: Work closely with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success.
- Data Collection: Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in Special Education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid New Mexico teaching certification in Special Education.
- Previous experience in Special Education, with a strong focus on resource and case management.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable with remote teaching platforms and technology.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
