Are you a speech therapist looking to secure the flexibility of a remote position as an independent contractor? VocoVision is currently working with a district in theLake City, FLarea need of a remote speech therapist to assist students in a K-12 agerange. This position will treat you as your own independent contractor, meaning youll have the opportunity to schedule your hours all from the comfort of your home. For further consideration, we require all contractors to have a minimum of two years of previous school experience within the past five years.
Position Details
- 1099 independent contracting structure
- K-12grade caseload with mild-moderate symptoms
- Full-time expected hours (see below for more details)
- We work with a Zoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA compliant)
School Hours: 8:00 to 3:30 PM local time
- Approximately 35-40total direct/indirect hours per week
- You can complete any indirect hours at your own time.
Requirements
- Hold a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology.
- Possess a Florida state license and/or teaching certification for Speech Therapy.
- Maintain professional liability insurance coverage as an independent contractor.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate speech and articulation needs.
- Provide remote therapy and intervention services as needed based on IEP needs.
- Develop Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) for each student based on results.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings with family and faculty members.
