K-12 Virtual Special Education Teacher
Location: Bloomington, IN (Remote)
Employment Type: Contract (1099)

Duration: January - June 2024
Hours: Full-time (35-37.5 hours/week)
Compensation: Hourly
Procare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced K-12 Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024 school year. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students while enjoying the flexibility of a remote position.

Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual Special Education instruction to K-12 students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Collaborate with parents, general Education Teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
- Utilize virtual platforms and technology to facilitate engaging and interactive lessons.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
- Previous experience in virtual or remote teaching preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in using virtual learning platforms and technology.
Requirements:
- Must be available to work full-time hours (35-37.5 hours/week).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, suitable workspace.
- Comfortable with technology and virtual teaching tools.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Contract Details:
This position is a 1099 employment contract with Procare Therapy for the duration of the 2024 school year, from January to June. Compensation will be provided on an hourly basis.
