Elementary Teacher / Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Elementary and Therapist to join our team. As a Elementary Teacher/Therapist , you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children with Autism to learn and grow. ```Duties```
- implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities with Children with Autism
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
- Conduct assessments to track progress and identify areas for improvement for children with autism
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance fir children with autism
- Create a positive classroom culture that promotes inclusivity and respect
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Follow all health and safety guidelines

```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool or daycare setting
- Knowledge of special education strategies and techniques
- Familiarity with physical education and promoting gross motor skills development
- Understanding of literacy education principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Knowledge of child welfare regulations and best practices
- Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and classroom management
