Hi, I’m Alexandra, past President of the agency SEO.com, now independently consulting on SEO projects through my brand Just Ask Alex.
I’m looking for a talented assistant who is excellent at learning new recurring tasks, executing them on a regular basis, and keeping track of details so things don’t fall through the cracks.
As my assistant, you’ll work directly with me, supporting our client efforts and sharpening your SEO skills. Ideally, you already have experience with SEO, and have authored or edited blog content before.
In a typical day, you may be asked to:
- Conduct research for our clients, according to specific guidelines;
- Compile information into documents or presentations;
- Create blog outlines from prompts;
- Complete a first round of revisions on a blog post with specific tools;
- Pop onto a call with me and write client-facing emails afterwards, etc.
I have specific processes in place for each of these tasks and will provide training on them to equip you in the first month of working together. It's important that you're able to follow directions closely and catch onto what's needed quickly.
This role is ideal as supplemental income, or for a freelancer. The hours are dependent on the client load at any given time. With more clients, this will increase. Hourly rate has potential for growth as well.
This is a 100% work from home opportunity, where you can set your own hours, as long as they are consistent and are during my working hours (9 – 5 PM Pacific).
We are only looking for candidates with previous virtual assistant, work from home, or freelance experience. Alternatively, you could be a good fit if you’ve worked in a marketing agency before. If none of that describes you, don’t apply.
What We're Looking For:
- At least 3 years’ experience as a virtual assistant, Marketing Assistant, or role in a marketing agency
- Hands-on experience in content management
- Impeccable communication and strong copywriting skills
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Familiarity with SEO
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- Experience with our tech stack: GSuite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive), Slack, Canva (preferred), SEMRush (preferred)
