Job description

Optum Care Network WA, along with The Everett Clinic and The Polyclinic, is seeking a Virtual Care Communications Specialist to support digital first initiatives and services in the market. Digitally enabled care is the future of healthcare and we need your help to prepare our teams for the changes and show them the benefits of our digital services. This role will require creativity, strong communication skills, and a passion for digital. We have ambitious goals to grow our digital services in the market and this role will help us achieve them.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist digital team and market partners with the development of adoption strategy specific to digital for our front-line staff, clinicians, and business teammates
  • Spread awareness of digital tools across organization
  • Coordinate with marketing partners to ensure internal roll out is optimally aligned with external marketing to patients
  • Work closely with People team to ensure adoption events / strategy align with existing People plans
  • Support the high-touch strategy by engaging in listening sessions, building relationships, identifying problem areas for digital solutions to solve
  • Establish baseline adoption rates & track / report on progress
  • Internal Issue Management solution support
  • “Digital School” vendor search & management
  • Lead Digital School programming
  • Continuously monitor, measure, and optimize across responsibility areas

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience in influencing people behavior (i.e. HR, change management, etc.)
  • Experience developing/maintaining workable, practical, and measurable work plans defining activities and deliverables based on the goals and objectives of the project(s)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience communicating with clinicians including MD, RN, NP, PA, etc.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, and the ability to influence through conversation
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, create and improve processes
