As part of the Cartier North America Human Resources team, in the role of V.I.E - Human Resources People Data Analyst, the V.I.E will have a crucial role in supporting Cartier North America's people analytics strategy. As a part of this role, you will work closely with all HR stakeholders to understand their specific analytics requirements and provide guidance on best ways to support their needs.
Your primary responsibility will be creating custom dashboards and conducting data analysis to enable targeted recommendations linked to the business strategy for HR partners. You will also assist the People Analytics Manager in implementing data analysis into the HR function's day-to-day work and decision-making, driving the visualization of critical talent metrics. The length of this V.I.E assignment is 18 months and ideally starts in March 2024, the position is based in New-York.
The Human Resources People Data Analyst will be responsible for building business-ready data models for analytics purposes. Your primary task will be to gather data from various sources such as Excel, internal systems, and PowerBI and provide clean, insightful, and standardized data to our business users. In partnership with the People Analytics Manager, you will collaborate with HR leaders to translate people's data insights into compelling narratives. Specific to the People Analytics role:
- Assist in developing KPIs and metrics to improve performance by analyzing data and creating enhancements using data visualization tools.
- You will serve as an HR Data steward responsible for ensuring the quality of data across systems - from acquisition to consumption.
- Responsible for compiling and analyzing data to gain further insight into people metrics, trends, and workforce changes.
- Through partnership and collaboration, you will effectively train key and end users on ways to improve foundational processes and tools.
- You will leverage your analytics skills to translate business questions into actionable dashboards for the entire organization.

You have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or in any similar scientific field.
You have 2+ years of experience in analytics and/or data warehousing, ideally in an international context.
You have a excellent understanding of data visualization tools, and demonstrate expertise in building dashboards to analyze data.
You like to work in a fast-paced environment, close to business, quickly delivering new features for business users.
The ability to work collaboratively across departments as part of a cross-functional team.
You have the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances; able to proactively question and challenge to prioritize and identify solutions in a timely manner.
