We're hiring an experienced Crew member to join our Video Department. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in cinema camera operation, creating cinematic movement while operating a gimbal set-up like the Sony FX3 + Ronin RS 3. The candidate must also have experience with managing a simple production set with lighting & sound recording equipment. Having an FAA Part 107 Drone certification is a plus. They must have a passion for creating story-driven content from concept to completion.

Candidates should be able to expose and capture images using manual settings. Experience or schooling in film, scriptwriting, motion graphics, animation, manual photography, or live stream video production experience is a plus. Must provide YouTube, and Vimeo links to reels or examples of your work.

Position Attributes:

• Cinema camera operation, specifically with creating cinematic movement while operating a gimbal set-up like the Sony FX3 + Ronin RS 3
• Candidate must have a functional skill set in Post-Production Editing Workflow including Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro or Resolve. Experience in Animation, After Effects, Photoshop & Lightroom are a plus.
• Candidate must have the ability to follow structured pre-production, production, and post-production workflows
• Candidate will work both independently and in small crews on set, and be able to properly lift equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Candidate must be organized, demonstrate professional communication, and possess an attention to detail.
• Candidate must be committed to expanding and growing their skill set and be receptive to coaching and feedback.
• Candidate must be able to work in a team environment.
• Candidate must be able to articulate ideas to the client, and willing to work with individuals who may have never been on camera before
• Candidate must have the ability to follow Creative Direction from the Video Department Director and adhere to Ironside’s standards of quality.
• Candidates must demonstrate patience and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience shooting & editing using a variety of necessary techniques in shot-by-shot assembly, transitions, audio mixing, and color correction
• Editing proficiency expectations: Builds an effective story arc that follows a script
• 2+ years in planning, scripting and confidently pitching concepts to clients.
• 2+ years experience in Color Correction & Grading
• 2+ years experience in Audio Mixing / Mastering Sound Design
• 3D and motion graphic animation software experience a plus
• Shooting manual photography and photo retouching a plus

Compensation is completely dependent on the candidate's current level of demonstrated capability and responsibilities. Coaching, equipment, and training are provided however, the expectation is that the Candidate can be assigned a project on day one and hit the ground running.
