Winston Products, LLC is looking for an in-house videographer & editor. This person will be responsible for shooting and editing video content for all our brands. Winston Products is a product innovation company that delivers a diverse portfolio of merchandising solutions in the automotive, lawn and garden, and home industries. The company is home to seven best-in-class brands: CargoSmart, FLAT CAT Golf, HydroTech, SmartStraps, SWOPT Cleaning, TowSmart, and W Home Products.

Responsibilities:
- Act as cinematographer and direct producer for a variety of content. This includes long and short-form, product-centric, in-studio/indoor, and outdoor and on-location content for use across multiple channels/platforms including social media, DTC/e-commerce, paid media, and retailer websites.
- Edit creative video content with consideration and understanding of each platform’s unique requirements and best practices.
- Resource and edit sound, including music and effects.
- Ideate, storyboard, and present video concepts in a way that effectively communicates ideas to key stakeholders.
- Research current video trends and stay informed of industry best practices and standards.
- Maintain video resource library in our asset management system (including uploading, tagging, organizing, etc.)
- Maintain equipment and studio space in our in-house studio.
- Collaborate with the Director of Digital Content and the Creative Director on short and long form social media content for Meta platforms, TikTok, YouTube, and more as necessary. This role is heavily focused on content produced for social media.
- Create paid video ads (brand product launches, sales, promotions, etc.) that align with company business goals and keep up with current best practices.
- Work closely with the marketing team to fulfill video content requests for brand campaigns, product launches, continued product support, e-commerce/retailers, and other key initiatives, both internal and external.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in video, film or media production, or related field from an accredited institution (or equivalent, relative experience)
- Demonstrated knowledge of filmmaking and production, including editing, cinematography, lighting, and sound editing
- Online portfolio of work samples/projects that demonstrates relevant experience/capabilities with a focus on both long form and short form (social media) video content production.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro)
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to drive results, recommendations, and evaluate outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate ideas and bring them across the finish line
- Comfortability shooting both horizontally and vertically.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Enthusiasm for staying current with social media platforms and trends.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and critique skills
- Ability to professionally give and receive constructive criticism so that team members can all improve and flourish.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2)+ years of video experience, including work as an editor, cinematographer, production assistant, or a combination of the above
- Experience using A.I. programs to generate scripts, backgrounds, effects, and more.
- Experience in marketing and advertising industry a plus.
This is a full-time, onsite position in Solon, Ohio at Winston Products headquarters. Winston Products has a 3,000 square foot studio in which the videographer will have lots of creative freedom!
