Video Producer/Editor - Cpg

We are seeking a Video Producer/Editor to join our dynamic team. This person has special skills to be more than a Producer; they’re also a proficient Editor. Whether you started your career path as an editor and want to move up or you’re one of those producers who can offline edit their own projects, we’d like to meet you.

You will produce/post-produce videos for projects, and must be knowledgeable about motion graphics with a great eye for layout/design, have an ability to work with motion graphics editors and animators and possess great attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Producer: Pre-production:

• Join in meetings
• Ability to take creative and make it work within budget
• Schedule and manage Post-production vendors
• Help Organize / keep track of:
  • RFQs / RFPs
  • Estimate submittals
  • Invoicing

Producer – Production Responsibilities:

• Set tone for project
• Manage and address client needs
• Collaborative by nature and Take ownership on things as they arise
• Manage, record VO as needed
• Provide music selects for client approval

Producer – Post-Production Responsibilities:

• Prep edit – get assets to editors, approved music and VO
• Guide online edit – provide details on selects for interviews, presentations, b-roll as well as guide/direct motion graphics
• Review all online edits and get them to ‘client’ level before sending to client
• Attention to detail with on-screen graphics
• Great with client relations – give client what they want, but also provide other options and know how to offer suggestions if editorially something doesn’t work well or is not within scope or budget.

Producer – Post Project Responsibilities:

• Organize / keep track of each Project’s:
  • Graphics assets
  • Media / footage
  • Client provided assets

Producer/Editor Additional Responsibilities:

• Edit in-house CPG marketing and sizzle videos as needed
• Edit one-off files or clean up files as needed for CPG Event Executive Producers clients

Skills:

• Proficient/Knowledgeable with Adobe Premiere Editing (or proficient with any edit platform and willing to learn Premiere)
• Ability to use graphic elements to make basic motion graphics
• Budgets – Excel docs
• Google Platform including Sheets
• Effective Communicator in Writing – emails and other
• Effective Communicator in meetings
• Collaborative – demonstrate how you’ve worked collaboratively more than once on different projects
