Job Description
We're looking to hire a full-time Repair Tech to repair Controllers and Consoles such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and Retro Systems. You'll be responsible for Diagnosing issues, correcting those issue, and testing the products for our stores, as well as recording the work and inventory that comes in and out of repair.
A regular day includes diagnosing, disassembling, fixing, and reassembling many controllers in sequence. Because of this, it can be very tedious at times, although there are also many times that intense problem solving must be used to overcome certain defects or malfunctions.
This role requires hands-on experience using various Soldering and Desoldering tools and some experience with circuit boards. Experience with the Various Consoles and Accessories would be preferred but not required.
Key Parts:
- Working with Soldering and Desoldering Equipment
- Recording Completed Repairs and Managing Inventory Counts
- Testing Systems and Accessories
- Maintaining Repair Tools
- Assemble and connect system and accessory components (e.g., Cables)
- Hands-On Experience with Electronic testing and circuitry
