We’re looking for a full time video director, shooter & editor (all in one) with experience in short form storytelling, social media video executions and YouTube video production who is creative, focused, and understands all the major social media platforms. From ideation to finished product, you will apply your expertise to develop, shoot, edit and manage all elements of video pre-production, production, and post-production processes. This person will collaborate with our Marketing Department and will interact with a mix of people both internally and externally to support our mission of developing video content to drive sales and user engagement. Success in this role will be demonstrated by producing dynamic, entertaining, and audience-appropriate videos to expand market reach and increase viewer engagement within a range of budgets from small to medium.
Video Editor Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Brainstorm and pitch opportunities for long-form and short-form videos
- Shoots video and produces content as necessary
- Handles and organizes raw and edited video files
- Edits videos to targeted length and specifications
- Adjusts formats and file sizes as needed
- Exports videos and facilitates mobile and web distribution
- This role will focus on creating videos that drive performance and engagement on our website, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other platforms
Video Editor Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of video editing and post-production experience
- Proficient in various non-linear video editing tools and other software (Edius, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, or other software)
- Creative and innovative
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience filming with a professional HD video camera 4K1080P 60FPS or similar equipment
- Experience and strong understanding of editing software
- Experience working on marketing videos that present a product a bonus
- Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing ability
- BA in video, film or graphic design preferred.
