Video Editor

General Job Description:

The Video Editor will be responsible for coordinating live webinars with Agency users and staff, editing recordings of webinars and other video meetings, and publishing Video On-Demand (VOD) content. The Video Editor will manage front line communications with customers, on site AV support technicians, live captioners, interpreters, and others involved in the event. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing/sweetening video archives of webinars/meetings for publishing. Publishing videos to our Videocast platform, and YouTube will also be the responsibility of this position. The Video Editor will also occasionally be tasked with other meeting and event support duties as team workload demands.

The Video Editor Must:

- be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop

- be able to manage production workload and customer interaction with little supervision

- be able to set and meet tight deadlines between event conclusion and finished product

- have excellent customer service/soft skills, and the ability to guide customers through difficult problems with confidence and care

- have strong knowledge of video formats/CODECS/wrappers

- have strong knowledge of video streaming

- have experience with EVP operations, Zoom Webinar, and MS Teams

- have basic video and web application troubleshooting experience

Qualifications:

- Adobe Certified Professional in Video Design

- Knowledge of web application architecture

- Zoom platform operations/administration

- Zoom events

- MS Teams Webinar and MS Stream

- MS Teams administration

- Working with Federal customers

- Working in a healthcare/academic environment

- Advanced web application troubleshooting skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
