Work Schedule:
This position is full-time and remote Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Purpose of Your Work:
As Vice President – Strategic Solutions,working closely with Redwood Multimodal (one of our business units),you will be responsible for the direct development of the sales team while playing a key role in Redwood’s overall Modern 4PL Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy to achieve our growth objectives.

How You Make a Difference Everyday:
- Play a key role in creating a Modern 4PL (M4PL) brokerage sales plan, develop and contribute to key metrics, and execute the sales growth strategy for your direct reports within the overall Enterprise Sales team.
- Motivate VP/Director – Strategic Sales to achieve individual and team goals, and create a fun, positive, and inspiring sales culture throughout the organization
- Support VP/Director – Strategic Sales with initial account acquisition, M4PL discovery, M4PL differentiation, implementation, development, and the RFP process
- Collaborate with VP/Director - Strategic Sales and Operational Leadership to promptly resolve escalated customer service issues
- Teach our teammates how to properly conduct discovery sessions with prospects that builds compelling customer value statements
- Establish and consistently monitor sales objectives for the department, ensuring alignment with overall organizational strategy
- Continuously develop and monitor departmental metrics/KPIs to ensure strong success
- Sales staff management within department, including interviewing, training, career development, and performance reviews
- Support our HR staff in sales talent acquisition
- Work with our Enterprise Sales team to cross-sell all Redwood services outside of the brokerage
- Analyze historical data and industry trends to provide guidance to VP/Director - Strategic Sales
You’ve Got This?
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in freight brokerage, 3PL Services or equivalent supply chain fields, with additional 3-5 years management experience in supply chain
- Demonstrated success managing a team of employees engaged in sales or business development activities at freight brokerage or similar environment
- Strong transportation industry knowledge
- Strong leadership skills; takes initiative and leads by example
- Strong negotiation, analysis, and networking skills
- Effective communicator with all levels of internal and external customers
- Flexibility to quickly adapt to business needs and/or industry changes
