Established in 2001, Acelero, Inc. is made up of two divisions - Acelero Learning and Shine Early Learning. Acelero Learning provides direct Head Start services to more than 5,000 children and families in four states (delegates) - New Jersey, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Acelero Learning's programs have been identified as a national exemplar , a model to the nation for early childhood education, and most significantly, has demonstrated best-in-class child outcomes gains , even during the pandemic.
Shine Early Learning (Shine), established in 2009, was created to scale the dissemination and utilization of Acelero Learning's proven tools and approaches through partnerships to other Head Start programs nationally. In the past three years, Shine has further diversified its offerings through training, technical assistance, and consultation to publicly funded early childhood systems, including the launch of SPARK Learning Labs.

The Purpose of the Role
The Vice President of People Operational Services at Acelero, Inc. is committed to developing and leading a forward-thinking human resources strategy that supports and enhances the organization's mission and vision. Their primary mission is to effectively scale and innovate our People Operational Services, including helping to ensure we maintain a best-in-class total rewards program. By overseeing the People/HR tech stack, performance management, people analytics, total rewards, and HR compliance, they will ensure that our People Operational Services are innovative, equitable, and compliant. Through strategic People Operational Services, the VP of People Operational Services will play a crucial role in empowering our employees and advancing Acelero, Inc.'s impact and growth in the early education sector.
What You'll Work On
- HRIS and People Tech Stack Management: Lead the management and optimization of our HRIS tech stack, including Workday and Cornerstone, ensuring these systems effectively support our HR functions.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, providing tools and guidance for effective employee evaluation and development.
- People Analytics: Utilize analytics to inform strategic decisions, improve HR processes, and measure the effectiveness of People Operations initiatives. Optimize Workday People Analytics module.
- Total Rewards: Design and administer comprehensive compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and equitable.
- HR Compliance: Ensure all People Operational Services are compliant with relevant employment laws and regulations, minimizing risk to the organization.
- Diversity and Inclusion : Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, developing and implementing strategies to create an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued, respected, and have equal opportunities for success.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is required and relevant certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP).
- Proven experience (5 years) in a senior leadership role in People Operations or Human Resources, preferably in a dynamic and growing organization.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic People Operations initiatives that positively impact organizational performance.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team and influence cross-functional collaboration.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align People Operations initiatives with overall business strategy.
- Travel required locally or long-distance up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.
Start Date: April/May 2024

Salary: 154,122 - 180,000
