Job Description:
Data Engineers are you interested in increasing your market value with a government clearance? Parsons can help! We are hiring talented Data Analysis Engineers to join our team and we will put you in for a government clearance!! In this role you will be working to access and connect to data, apply data management concepts, and apply UX/UI concepts to the creation of visualizations.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Work directly with the USSOUTHCOM Office of the Chief Data Officer to enhance and standardize data connection, collection, and visualization.
- Integrated data from multiple sources and structure that data to tell a coherent story.
- Communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.
- Training on the ADVANA Platform will be provided to enable utilization of the associated toolsets to create, manage, and standardize visualizations across the command.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience with query languages such as SQL (structured query language).
- Experience with Data Analysis tools (e.g., Excel, STATA SAS, SPSS).
- Experience applying User Interface and User experience (UX/UI) concepts to data display development.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline degree related to area of specialty
- 4+ Years Experience managing organizational level data systems
- Ability to acquire a government security clearance which requires US citizenship
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
- Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
- Knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and data management.
- Knowledge of data mining and data warehousing principles.
- Familiarity with the Booz Allen (BAH) developed ADVANA platform.

Salary Range:
$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
