JOB SUMMARY
Directs Regional Directors of Base Operations and works in collaboration with the Vice President of Patient Care Services and Staff Development, Chief Medical Officer, and Director of Business Development. Duties included but not limited to financial aspects of the program including marketing, communications, and operating expenses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
• Provides direct supervision of Regional Directors of Base Operations and Public Relations Manager
• Develops goals and objective consistent with the mission and vision of the Company
• Assists with the preparation of annual business and marketing plan along with annual capital and operating budget for the Company
• Accounts for cost overruns and maintains bottom line within the budget framework
• Approves expenditures within established limits, and delegates approval and clear limits to direct reports when appropriate in conformance with company policy
• Maintains a safe environment for patients, guests, and staff
• Develops monthly reports of flight activity
• Acts as a liaison with other health care providers
• Completes performance appraisals on directly supervised personnel and ensures all performance appraisals are accomplished on an annual basis
• Collaborate problem solving and follow-up on operational issues with the appropriate personnel
• Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with staff and management personnel
• Attends classes, training, or meetings necessary to maintain knowledge of advances in safety, communications, marketing, management, and equipment development
• Participates in activities that promote professional growth and self-development
• Maintains thorough knowledge of departmental and other regulatory policies and procedures
• Maintains timely communications with direct reports and Senior Vice President of Operations
• Coordinates activities with the Medical Director(s) and the Vice President of Clinical Care Services regarding medical personnel, policies and procedures, medical supplies, equipment, and departmental goals
• Assists Public Relations Manager with development, implementation, and management of an aggressive marketing program aimed at all users of emergency services and other interested groups
• Assists with development of information and promotional materials designed to promote awareness in the community
• Participates in the company response to and mitigation of any significant negative event in a manner that reduces negative public exposure, reduces civil and criminal legal exposure including providing care and support to staff members and their families directly and indirectly affected ensuring a well understood plan is in place and serves as company spokesperson
• Develops annual goals and marketing plan for all areas of responsibility
• Participates in strategic planning for the Company
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
· Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree, Masters Degree preferred
Experience:
• Ten years experience in medical transport
• Five years experience in a progressive responsible management position

Salary Range: $242,427.20 to $303,034.00 DOE
