Responsibilities:

  • Visionary Leadership: Distill information to discern key challenges and opportunities integral to realizing long-term goals and visions.
  • Innovation: Pioneer and apply groundbreaking ideas to bolster sales performance, augment revenue, and heighten customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning: Steer the Sales Team’s trajectory by harmonizing functions and processes with overarching business objectives.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Surpass customer anticipations to achieve superior levels of customer contentment.
  • 3PL Leadership: Furnish comprehensive leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for the 3PL Sales

  • Process Management: Supervise and scrutinize transportation procedures and freight dynamics.
  • Administrative Tasks: Oversee crucial administrative duties, encompassing sales protocols, pricing strategies, and relationship cultivation/management.
  • Contract Negotiation: Articulate negotiations for contract conditions, frameworks, and service spectra.
  • Operational Collaboration: Synergize with operational teams company-wide to propel initiatives and buttress strategic growth plans.
  • Record Keeping: Uphold detailed and precise records of all sales activities within the designated CRM tools.
  • Sales Review: Conduct regular evaluations of Sales endeavors, prospects, and team performance with company leadership.
  • Team Building: Recruit, induct, coach, and foster a high-performance Sales Team.
  • Claims Management: Direct claim resolutions and enforce preventive measures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree mandatory; specialization in supply chain or logistics is advantageous.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in directing a flourishing transportation operation, specifically FTL.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of holistic Supply Chain procedures and functionalities.
  • Communication Skills: Robust leadership capabilities paired with exceptional communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Profound analytical prowess, coupled with stellar presentation skills and articulate verbal/written communication.
  • Sales Leadership: Autonomous leader dedicated to operational excellence with a proven track record of surpassing sales targets.
  • Business Acumen: Solid business insight and professional maturity.
  • Tech Proficiency: Skilled in using Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Transportation Management Systems.
