SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Corporate Development is the senior executive responsible for driving the growth and expansion strategies of CollisionRight by serving as the internal and external point of contact for all acquisition related matters. This will involve leading the end-to-end processes of acquisitions, including identification, early analysis and screening, structuring, due diligence, negotiation, deal closing, and continuing to be a point of contact for acquisition activities. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping CollisionRight's future at its competitive position in the market. Strong leadership and interaction with executives, internal and external stakeholders, and third-party advisors will be critical in support of Corporate Development and acquisition functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute a comprehensive Corporate Development strategy that aligns with CollisionRight’s mission, values, and growth objectives.
Develop and maintain the CollisionRight acquisition pipeline.
Identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities, assessing strategic fit, financial viability, and prioritizing in accordance with business objectives.
Develop and present business cases and financial models to be reviewed and approved by the Executive Leadership Team and Board.
Communicate Corporate Development strategies, progress, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders on a regular cadence.
Develop relationships with external parties such as industry professionals, investment banks, private investment firms, potential deal targets and M&A advisors.
Develop a robust merger and acquisition playbook covering deal sourcing, evaluation, prioritization of targets, due diligence, and deal execution.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (MBA, or relevant certifications preferred).
7-10 years of proven experience (a combination of investment banking/private equity and corporate M&A) with a track record of successful deal formation and execution.
Strong understanding of data analysis, financial acumen, and performance metrics to effectively translate into financial modeling and enhanced valuation techniques for merger and acquisition transactions.
Exceptional negotiation and deal structuring abilities.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Energetic with excellent communication skills, and interpersonal skills that are effective in interacting with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
Ability to plan, prioritize and deliver results in a dynamic work environment that is fast-paced and requires the ability to adapt to change quickly.
Ability to travel as needed.
