The Role
As key members of the Managed AccountsInvestment Product team we are responsible for partnering with investment and distribution partners to develop, implement and support the diverse set of investment solutions offered by Strategic Advisers. We are fortunate to contribute to Fidelity's rapidly growing advice business and capabilities with a focus on single asset class, multi-asset class, and multi-account solutions offered to retail, workplace, or institutional investors.
Another important role is to act as liaison between Strategic Advisers investment professionals and key product, sales and service, communications, legal and compliance business partners. In close partnership with Fidelity's distribution channels, we help to effectively communicate our investment capabilities in terms of clear and powerful value drivers for clients!
In this role you will be part of a diverse, collaborative, and adaptive team tasked with helping grow Fidelity's advice solutions in the market! Primary Responsibilities
The responsibilities within Strategic Advisers Managed Account offerings/capabilities will contribute to several exciting areas of the business.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a subset of solutions offered by Strategic Advisers - solutions spanning Unified Managed Account (UMA) solutions, Unified Managed Household (UMH) solutions, Digital solutions, Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) solutions, Intermediary-Sold Model solutions, and proprietary fund solutions - which currently represent over three million accounts and greater than $800B in assets
  • Lead development of solutions in your SME area
  • Partner with Fidelity's distribution channels to develop and cultivate a pipeline of new investment solution initiatives
  • Develop compelling business cases to help with prioritization while influencing to take action on new initiatives
  • Point-person for the on-going product management of the solutions including ongoing product support in the form of communications and positioning of investment process and methodology, as well as facilitation of client requests/exceptions, reporting/analysis improvements, and ad hoc channel needs
  • Accountable for crafting and articulating investment solution philosophy, process, resources, and results to internal partners liaising with product professionals across a variety of Strategic Advisers business partners to support product positioning, product marketing, and product development
  • Support distribution teams to answer complex client and prospect inquiries related to the investment methodology

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Ten (10+) plus years of financial services experience, preferably in product management, product development or product strategy roles
  • Investment and/or Product experience with single-asset class, multi-asset-class, and/or fund solutions including Managed Accounts
  • Advanced degrees, relevant professional certifications and/or equivalent(s) strongly preferred
  • Interpersonal and Influencing skills required along with confirmed ability to successfully engage with all levels of management across multiple business units
  • Communication Skills and the ability to clearly, concisely and persuasively present sophisticated proposals, issues and arguments, both in writing and verbally
  • Analytical and Critical Thinking Skill required ensuring analyses are thoroughly vetted and sound
  • Project Management skills required to successfully drive projects across the company and run critical dependencies
  • Proactive identification of critical issues, potential resolution plans, and quick decisioning
  • Basic technology concepts and trading architectures for financial services / Managed Accounts

The base salary range for this position is $123,000-$207,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
