PMX is an omnichannel activation powerhouse that drives smart application of investment through leveraging scale, marketplace innovation, deeper partnerships and knowledge. PMX is at the forefront of the converging marketplace building data-informed, tech-enabled media to help marketers connect with consumers in a measurable way. 

Publicis Media Exchange (PMX) launched a new Advanced TV (ATV) practice. This practice combines the scale and expertise of Publicis Media with the data and technology of Publicis-owned Epsilon and strategic media partners to offer cross-channel video planning, execution, and measurement. The offerings within PMX Lift includes products around Addressable TV, and Over-The-Top (OTT) video.

PMX Lift is dedicated to supporting the sales/growth/demand of the PMX Lift products. To accommodate the increased demand and successfully launch campaigns, the PMX Central Activation team has added a new arm dedicated specifically to PMX Lift and servicing our agencies via activating ATV campaigns on their behalf.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated VP of Measurement and Analytics, to join the growing team and help drive all aspects of executing PMX Lift campaigns. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

On top of invaluable experience in the fast-growing, evolving ATV landscape, this role offers high visibility with PM agency leadership and executives, the chance to work across a variety of client brands/verticals and the opportunity to collaborate with different teams of experts.

Must haves for this role include a proven track record and comfortability in a client facing role, a deep understanding of the advanced TV and video ecosystems, along with an expertise in audience based buying. An entrepreneurial spirit, and a humble and hardworking attitude are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of all PMX Lift campaign measurement output 
  • Engagement with key client and agency data and analytics teams – a strong enthusiasm for client facing engagements, and an ability to package and present campaign results
  • Ability to integrate Lift products and capabilities into broader strategic client measurement frameworks, MMM, MTA, etc.
  • Technical knowledge of advanced TV and its outputs; an ability to understand client business goals and tie outcomes to campaign activity
  • Technical knowledge of advanced attribution measurement such as attitudinal studies, foot traffic, transactional, etc
  • Engagement with leads at key MMM, MTA and other advanced attribution measurement companies for ideation, partnership and facilitation of Lift campaign and client specific measurement goals
  • Marketplace knowledge to assist client teams in seeing longer-term opportunities and keep them informed of industry trends, recommending measurement projects/optimizations based on those trends
  • Acts as a thought leader or SME within the PMXLift team with regard to measurement and analytics capability
  • Oversee and direct advanced analytics projects to ensure that the deliverables are designed to answer valuable client and media team questions, and that timelines and scope are adhered to
  • Support new business pitch needs as necessary
  • Great collaborator: key stakeholder across Central Activation, agency leads, Epsilon product
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience within an agency or media company, including client facing responsibilities
  • Direct report management experience
  • Strong background in Advanced TV, including Addressable TV, DDL, and/or OTT
  • Experience preferred with Advanced TV platforms (examples including Ampersand, Dish, Warner/Xandr, Amobee, OpenAP, NBCU AdSmart, Viacom Vantage, Discovery Engage, Vizio, Samsung, Roku, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Traditional and digital media data
  • Experience with process building/workflow documentation
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills – demonstrated ability to mine data for relevant and actionable insights 
  • Proactive about questioning the norm and pushing for improvements
  • Excellent relationship building and decision-making skills with ability to think creatively
  • Other preferred traits include a hand-raising attitude, high attention to detail, ability to keep meticulously organized, and taking initiative on projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
