Job Description
The Vice President, Head of Marketing is the functional leader of eVisit’s marketing department and member of the company’s Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the CEO, this role is responsible for executing programmatic and non-programmatic elements of our overall marketing strategy, while also partnering with the CEO / SLT to evolve our marketing strategy as our target markets and portfolio of solutions evolve.
This role is a key partner to the rest of the SLT and broader eVisit organization–specifically Sales, Clinical Strategy, Customer Operations and Product Marketing. The right individual for this role will be equal parts doer and manager, running a lean team and rolling up their sleeves to efficiently contribute to eVisit’s overall growth and success.
Requirements
Programmatic:
- Be the eVisit owner of the company’s programmatic library of content / templates, which is a mission-critical component of the company’s overall value proposition to our customers.
- Organize intimate educational events that foster growth and community for our health care delivery organization partners related to advancements in virtual care across different use cases featured in eVisit’s programmatic focus.
- Coordinate media and speaking opportunities for our health system partners with the goal of growing awareness and community around high-value use cases and virtual care strategy identified in eVisit’s programmatic work.
- Contribute to identification and qualification of eVisit’s diagnostic engagements each quarter, assisting sales, customer success, and clinical strategy in the process.
- Finalize design and formalization of eVisit’s updated messaging and positioning and convert it to assets like the website and sales collateral.
Non-Programmatic:
- In consultation with SLT / CEO, determine ongoing external events strategy, staffing and overall execution–including the driving of preparation, on-site execution and post-event follow-up.
- Update non-programmatic elements (e.g. design, certain aspects of content) of eVisit-branded properties.
- Manage CEO / Investor communications ad-hoc as needed (e.g. press releases).
- Build awareness of eVisit and grow the healthcare community around eVisit using via a handful of channels such as LinkedIn, HISTalk, CHIME, and ATA.
- Contribute to the identification of product roadmap / new product opportunities, both organically and inorganically.
- Contribute to the ongoing competitive landscape repository managed by Product Marketing.
Qualifications:
- A high degree of integrity, humility and trustworthiness as a foundation to execute the behaviors associated with eVisit’s Core Values
- 8-10+ years of experience building / leading marketing teams, specifically within the healthcare delivery industry (with a focus on hospitals / health systems) and ideally with organizations that combine differentiated technology with subject matter expertise programmatically
- Experience in developing a brand through thought leadership and education
- Experience in the formulation / execution of an overall messaging platform that is used consistently across the organization with the appropriate mechanisms to iterate / evolve.
- Understanding of traditional and innovative marketing strategies
- Exceptional ability to communicate and collaborate with other functional leaders, the CEO and the Board of Directors
- Demonstrated success creating campaigns and initiatives that drive revenue growth and new customer acquisition
- Demonstrated understanding of the unique dynamics of the healthcare industry, ideally within virtual care / digital transformation
- Fluency in analytics and modeling that drive a data-driven approach
