As Advantage Solutions transforms the way we do business, we are looking to hire a VP Product Management – Data & Analytics IT to oversee the complete Product Management of Data & Analytics Products in honor of our business objectives aligned to our Analytics & MDM Strategy. This critical role will drive progress, momentum and lead a team of professionals across Data Product Management, Data Value Roadmap, Client Services, Change Management and Demand Management. Leveraging a highly collaborative suite of skills, this key leader will partner across DnA team, IT and our internal business partners and external customers. This senior position requires a deep understanding of the connection between data/analytics capabilities, business value deliverables and the people change aspect - and will be highly organized across several work domains and will be responsible for the career paths and development of its team.

Position Summary
VP Product Management – Data & Analytics IT will oversee the complete Product Management of Data & Analytics Products in honor of our business objectives aligned to our Analytics & MDM Strategy. This critical role will drive progress, momentum and lead a team of professionals across Data Product Management, Data Value Roadmap, Client Services, Change Management and Demand Management. Leveraging a highly collaborative suite of skills, this key leader will partner across DnA team, IT and our internal business partners and external customers. This senior position requires a deep understanding of the connection between data/analytics capabilities, business value deliverables and the people change aspect - and will be highly organized across several work domains and will be responsible for the career paths and development of its team.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities 

• Manage and deliver all aspects of Product Management for our Data & Analytics Products
• Manage and deliver all aspects of our DnA Portfolio – ensuring alignment of value to our business cases with our deliverables – in partnership with our PMO and Finance partners
• Manage, maintain, communicate and deliver all aspects of an informed Data & Business Value Roadmap
• Manage Client portfolio of Analytics strategy and delivery – in partnership with our IT Commercial teams.
• Develop appropriate strategies for managing Change Mgmt – driving data maturity and analytics capability throughout our organization – partnering with the Transformation office
• Develop, manage, track and deliver success in the Demand Management process – covering all aspects of needs for Data & Analytics
• Serve as the single point of accountability for total Product Management & dnA Client services needs
• Partner directly with IT Commercial services team to collaborate on Analytics needs and solutions.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure infrastructure designs and approaches meet the business data & analytics capabilities required.
• Implement required governance in any areas where required.
• Champion change needed to measure and deliver adoption of DnA solutions
• Upskill existing talent & staff the gap areas for the DnA Operating Model
• Support data and analytics standardization and consistency on solution approach – partnering closely across all DnA teams
• Create Data-centric view of our solutions to support our business questions, decisions and actions – developing our Analytics and relevant data roadmap.
• Align all deliverables and approaches to the Data and Analytics strategy
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and other legal requirements related to data management.
• Partner with cross-functional teams within IT and across the business functions to identify critical analytics needs and their corresponding data roadmaps
• Collaborate and Champion with business leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to develop data-driven insights that drive business actions and outcomes.
• Partner with and manage external vendors or consultants as an extension of IT to ensure success.
• Partner with PMO leads to continuously manage team delivery to project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely and high-quality and high adoption Data Products.
• Build high trust relationships with our business partners.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct Reports
- Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources

Indirect Reports
- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

 

Travel Requirements

- Travel up to 25 %

 

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level:
Bachelor’s or relevant experience in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
Field of Study/Area of Experience:
- Proven experience (10+ years) leading Product Mgmt, Demand & Change Mgmt in the Data and Analytics space specifically.
- 10+ years of experience in multiple areas of BI and Analytics
- Implementation experience with Data Governance, Chg Mgmt for data driven initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of all required capabilities to execute a Data and Analytics strategy in an emerging space of maturity for an enterprise
- Create RFPs, review responses and finalize vendors as an extension of IT team working with strategic sourcing
- Strong understanding of Enterprise data management, business processes, including finance, order management and procurement.
- CPG and/or Retail experience required
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage projects, and deliver results.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability
- Familiarity with IT governance, compliance, change and risk management frameworks.

Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
