Job Summary: The Vice President will lead the CRE Capital Markets CLO team, which focuses on CLO execution and management for the real estate investment lending business. The Vice President will generally be responsible for the duties outlined below.

Job Duties and Responsibilities*:- The Vice President will work within the CRE Capital Markets team with a focus on collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). Execution includes:
- Responsible for and oversee the analysis and modeling of property- and portfolio-level underwriting for new CLO securitizations and existing CLO reinvestments;
- Manage the CLO reinvestments for the actively managed CLOs, including underwriting, restructuring, and coordinating between internal and external parties for reinvestment execution;
- Oversee and manage due diligence, rating agency, and bond investor questions for new and existing CLOs;
- Manage the review process for the asset summaries in the Term Sheet for new CLO securitizations;
- Prepare asset-level pitch for rating agency haircut and investor roadshow calls;
- Present asset-level pitch and responsible for answering credit-related questions during rating agency haircut and investor roadshow calls.
- Assist with all aspects of syndication and financing for the real estate investment lending business across various financing vehicles.
- Direct experience and strong knowledge of commercial real estate underwriting of cash flows for all property types;
- Ideally experience working with rating agencies and securitization related collateral credit and underwriting.
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to manage multiple workflows, work closely with others as well as independently to produce accurate, detailed work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Self-starter and self-motivated;
- Experience reviewing and analyzing legal documents is preferred;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Argus, and PowerPoint is a must with knowledge of VBA helpful but not
- 5-10+ years’ experience in commercial real estate. Direct experience in underwriting is a must while experience in syndication and Capital Markets is a plus;
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Finance or Economics
