POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced leader to join the executive management team at the Group level as the Vice President, AI Strategy and Business Integration, to enable and accelerate adoption of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other AI disciplines across businesses in the Group.

This role will drive the integration of Generative AI and other AI disciplines into business processes on three fronts:

• Employee Productivity - Accelerate grassroots innovation by ensuring every employee is aware of the AI tools available to them, is trained in the use of those tools, and is creating measurable performance improvements through their use
• Operational Efficiency - Steer management-sponsored AI investments that automate repetitive tasks, reduce operational expense or create new capabilities unavailable from manual processes by researching available technologies, forming vendor relationships, and participating in the acquisition, implementation and return-on-investment measurement of these investments
• Product Evolution - Work with the business unit leadership and product teams to plan the use of Generative AI and other AI disciplines to create competitive differentiators either in product features or content production maintenance activities.

This role, in conjunction with the business unit presidents, initiative champions who manage the resources within each business unit, and Hearst Corporation AI Strategy leadership, is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive and coherent vision for how AI can enhance value propositions, create new revenue streams, strengthen competitive advantage and optimize operations. Participate in all aspects of AI transformation including market research, partnerships, knowledge sharing, strategic planning, execution, progress reporting, governance and compliance.
