  • Art direct and manage all aspects of visual effects for architectural and design projects, from concept development to final delivery.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on work from internal artists, external vendors, and freelancers.
  • Ensure visual consistency across all projects, upholding the company's artistic vision.
  • Collaborate with VFX Supervisors, Producers, and Creative Directors to translate creative briefs into actionable plans.
  • Bridge communications between the LA offices and the HQ in Dallas, ensuring seamless collaboration and information flow.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of leading and inspiring teams.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional artistic vision and technical expertise in visual effects.
  • Experience managing and directing multiple VFX projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to translate complex creative ideas into clear, actionable plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex situations and find creative solutions.
  • Proficiency in a variety of M&E software is a plus (e.g., Autodesk 3DS Max, Foundry Nuke, Adobe Suite, Unreal Engine, Enscape 3D).
  • While not required, knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Trimble SketchUp is a plus.
  • Work must be executed onsite but with the benefit of flexible remote work options.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge visual effects projects for architectural and design projects.
  • Collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • The opportunity to experience different work environments and collaborate with colleagues across various Corgan offices.

Base Salary Range:
