Salary2222 Veterinary Clinic is currently seeking a Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent personal skills. We focus on providing top of the line patient care while maintaining exceptional customer service. You must have the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn new skills daily. No experience? No problem! We are willing to train the right person!
We are a fast paced, growing, 4 doctor practice. We have a paperless system (VIA), digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, and ultrasound.
Skills required:
· Animal restraint
· Venipuncture
· IV catheter placement
· Endotracheal intubation
· Knowledge of vaccines and vaccine protocols
· Assisting with radiographs
· Anesthetic monitoring
· Taking detailed history
Daily tasks for this position include:
· Assisting the doctors in all areas of veterinary medicine and surgery
· Assisting with exams
· Ensuring quality care for our patients
· Anesthesia
· Diagnostics including radiology and laboratory tests
· Dental and surgical procedures
· Obtaining vitals on patients
· Animal restraint
· Communication with all aspects of the veterinary team
· Communicate with clients in a professional manner on the status of their pet, along with any other questions they may have.
