Duties:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with client inquiries
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
- Process payments and handle financial transactions
- Manage medical records, scanning, and updating information (digital record keeping)
- Provide support to other team members as needed
Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with veterinary software systems (cornerstone)
- Compassion for animals and their owners
Please note that this position does not involve dog training or pet grooming. The primary responsibilities of a Veterinary Receptionist are focused on providing administrative support to the veterinary clinic.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
