What we’re seeking:
● We are seeking individuals skilled in client service relations. Preferred candidates will have extensive experience working in emergency or general practice veterinary offices.
● Client Service Representatives serve an essential role in our hospital and provide excellent client relations. Must have a love for pets and willingness to help pets in critical / life-threatening situations.
● Our hospital is 24/7/365, candidates require flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Recognize pets facing life-threatening illness and alert appropriate medical staff promptly
- Available and attentive to front office needs, including walk-in client needs, phone calls and emails
- Able to communicate effectively with team members regarding needs of clients and referring veterinary staff
- Willingness to learn Ezyvet and Vetradar software
- Able to obtain payment from clients utilizing our software
- Able to scan records and upload them into our software system
- Able to send records to clients and referring veterinarians
- Be a host to our clients and their pets.
- Communicate with our clients and keep them updated on wait times / expectations throughout their visit
- Aid in maintaining cleanliness / presentation of exam rooms, lobby and client restroom
- Ensure stock of client food and beverage
- Willingness to learn to fill medications accurately
- Work collaboratively with doctors and staff to to update clients on the status of hospitalized pets
- Attention to detail of pet and owner names
- Proficient in communication and empathy with clients. Capable of providing comfort to owners and their pets
- Comfortable presenting treatment plans with owners and having conversations regarding financial requirements
Compensation:
● Hourly rate $16 - $20 per hour based on experience, credentials, schedule availability and other factors
