SalaryThe kennel shifts are a morning shift of 8am-12pm and an afternoon shift of 3pm-6pm (Except for Mondays which are 3-7pm). The days for kennel shifts we are looking for is Monday & Wednesday afternoons and all day Saturdays. The assistant shifts' days are flexible, but similar in shift hours.
Some of the responsibilities for kennel shifts include caring for the dogs and cats that are boarding, giving medication to the boarding animals and cleaning the kennel areas as well as helping clean other areas in the clinic. This position also allows the opportunity to learn about the veterinary care of animals, setting up/running tests, handling of animals during exams, etc.
The interested person should be self motivated and be able to work unsupervised in the kennels but get along in a team setting.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
